Brianna Charles UNLV - adds a third piece to its 2011 class 
Brianna Charles, the 5-foot-5 point guard from Sacramento, Calif., has signed a National Letter of Intent with UNLV, according to her JBS club team coach Sean Chambers. Charles committed to CSU-Bakersfield before the fall early signing period but did not sign and reopened her recruitment this winter. Charles will join Alana Cesarz, a 6-2 post from Delevan, Wis., and Danielle Miller, a three-star guard prospect from Spring Valley, Calif., in the Lady Rebels' 2011 recruiting class.
Hannah Womack PG Liberty Christian H.S. (CA) Nor Cal point guard picks New Mexico State
Hannah Womack, a 5-foot-7 point guard from Millville, Calif., has given her verbal commitment to New Mexico State University, according to her JBS club team coach Sean Chambers. The senior at Liberty Christian High School averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game as a junior and was an All State selection in CIF Division V.
Madeline Campbell a guard from Loomis, Calif., has given a commitment to head coach Lindsay Gottlieb and UCSB according to Campbell's club coach, Sean Chambers of JBS. The 5-foot-11 guard from Del Oro High School averaged 17 points per game last season, helping the Golden Eagles to a 26-6 overall record. She plays for JBS Purple.
Jessica Palmer 6-foot-2 forward from Antelope High School, also gave a verbal commitment this summer, pledging herself to Cal-State Fullerton.
Oregon nabs California forward Deanna Weaver
Deanna Weaver has given Oregon its third verbal in two days, Weaver's club coach, Sean Chambers, confirmed Wednesday.
Weaver, a 6-foot forward from Santa Clara, Calif., joins JBS club teammate Ariel Thomas and Danielle Love, a forward from Everett, Wash., as the third verbal commitment of coach Paul Westhead's first recruiting class. Thomas committed during a home visit Tuesday, while Love gave Oregon her commitment Wednesday.
Weaver, a senior at Wilcox High School, also considered Arizona State, Washington and Nebraska. She took her official visit to Oregon the same weekend as Thomas.
California nabs in-state guard Mikayla Lyles
Mikayla Lyles has given a verbal commitment to California, according to her club coach, Sean Chambers.
Lyles, a 5-foot-8 guard from Bishop O'Dowd High School in Pleasanton, Calif., also considered Arizona State and Oregon. She took official visits to California and Oregon. With an impressive knack for knocking down three's, Lyles was including among ESPN HoopGurlz' Top Shooters of the Summer.
"She's the most consistent kid I've ever coached," Chambers said. "She's the best clutch shooter I've seen. ... She won a lot of games for us this summer."
Lyles and her JBS Purple teammates surged onto the elite scene this summer with a strong team that has now had five players verbal to Division I schools, three of those to the Pacific-10 Conference with Lyles' decision.
Kyra Dunn Wants to be a Panther
Kyra Dunn, the 6-foot-3 post prospect from Sacramento, Calif., has given her verbal commitment to the Pitt Panthers. She is the second verbal commitment for Pittsburgh, joining guard Marquel Davis from Fredericksburg, Va. In early August Dunn narrowed her schools list to a final four that included Boston College, Northwestern and Washington in addition to Pitt. Dunn is the third of JBS to verbally commit to Division I schools. Teammates Brittany Shine and Sara James committed to the University of Florida and the Stanford respectively
